Denmark Tops EU for Helping Unemployed People Find Jobs
Denmark ranked first in the EU for helping job seekers return to work, marking its 15th consecutive year at the top.

An analysis by the Economic Council of the Labour Movement showed Denmark ranked first in 2025. This is the 15th consecutive year Denmark has led the EU ranking. The study analysed official data from Eurostat.
On average, 40.6% of unemployed residents found work from one quarter to the next. Denmark also ranked first in assisting long-term unemployed people back into jobs. About 24% of residents unemployed for over a year found a job each quarter.
