/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Denmark's online Motor Registry is temporarily closed due to a technical error. Vehicle owners cannot access registration services at this time. The Danish Motor Authority confirmed the outage on its official website. Officials have not explained the cause of the failure. The timeline for reopening the registry remains unknown.
This shutdown follows recent concerns over data security. In April, reports showed private companies accessed registry details since 2021. Up to 73,000 registered car owners had their personal information exposed. A document request showed the security hole remained open in September. The Motor Authority stated it would conduct an internal investigation.
