Denmark Issues Guidelines to Improve Access to Defibrillators
The Danish Resuscitation Council has issued ten new recommendations to make life-saving defibrillators accessible around the clock.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Denmark has introduced new guidelines to ensure public access to defibrillators at all times.
The change helps people respond quickly to medical emergencies in local areas.
More than 26,000 defibrillators are currently installed across Denmark.
However, nearly 5,000 of them are accessible only during business opening hours.
Another 1,542 machines remain completely locked away.
To solve this issue, the Danish Resuscitation Council issued ten recommendations.
These rules cover the proper placement and maintenance of defibrillators.
Council Director Stine Strandkjær emphasized the need for total public access.
She stated that a key goal is ensuring 24/7 access to these devices.
According to The Copenhagen Post, only around 70 percent are currently available all day.
