Denmark Gender Pay Gap Narrows for First Time in Three Years

Women in Denmark still earn less than men. However, the gender pay gap in Denmark narrowed last year. This shift is the first improvement in three years.

Statistics Denmark published the new official figures. In 2025, Danish women earned 12.3 percent less than men. In 2024, the wage gap was 12.9 percent.
