Denmark Faces Cloudy Weekend with Local Sun and Night Frost Risk

Expect a mostly cloudy weekend across Denmark with occasional sunshine and cold nights. Temperatures on Friday will reach between 6 and 10 degrees Celsius. However, overnight temperatures will drop significantly across the country. DMI meteorologist Hans Peter Wandler warns of potential overnight frost.

Friday weather will divide the country into two distinct regions. Western and southwestern areas will mostly see grey and cloudy skies. Northern and eastern parts will start with morning fog. Sun will break through in those areas later in the day. Overnight into Saturday will bring local mist and fog again. Southern Jutland inland areas face the highest risk of freezing temperatures.

Saturday will begin with widespread clouds before sunshine breaks through in several places. Night temperatures into Sunday will range between 0 and 7 degrees Celsius. Frost depends on cloud cover clearing overnight. Sunday will start cloudy, with light rain showers appearing later in western areas.
