Denmark Details New Foreign Worker Scheme with DKK 322,000 Salary Floor

Non-EU workers in Denmark can soon get work permits with lower salary rules. Certified firms can hire non-EU staff at DKK 322,000 a year from January 2027.

Denmark has published details for its new union agreement business plan. The new scheme starts on January 1, 2027. Under the plan, SIRI-certified firms can hire qualified foreign workers.

Chinese job seekers and non-EU staff can apply under this new scheme. The minimum yearly salary required is DKK 322,000. This change helps non-EU students and workers move to Danish work permits. The report details were published by Deloitte.
