Denmark Begins Sending Free Flu and COVID-19 Vaccine Invitations

Denmark has started sending free flu and COVID-19 vaccine invitations to 1.3 million residents. The drive targets people aged 65 and older. It also covers individuals in high-risk groups. Eligible residents will receive digital invitations by the end of September. This roll-out ensures vulnerable residents get free seasonal protection across Denmark.

The Danish Health Authority and Statens Serum Institut are managing the program. Vaccinations will run from October 1 to December 20, 2026. Invitations are sent automatically to eligible citizens. The Copenhagen Post reported this health drive to protect vulnerable groups.
