Danish Government Predicts Property Prices Will Keep Rising

The Tax and Growth Ministry released the new Financial Report. It shows that property prices in Copenhagen and other big cities are growing fast. Interest rates are expected to rise in 2027. However, house prices will still continue to go up.
Prices for owned apartments have climbed quickly in recent years. This growth will slow down next year in Copenhagen. Apartment supply on the market has increased recently. Supply and demand are becoming more balanced now. Price growth will line up better with income growth.
The report warns about rapid price increases in short periods. Buying at high prices can cause personal money problems if prices drop. However, data from Denmark's National Bank shows current housing costs remain manageable. The typical property burden is not unusually high right now.
