Danish Cycling Industry Launches Cykeljobs.dk Job Portal

Job seekers in Denmark can now use a new website for cycling jobs. The platform Cykeljobs.dk lists roles for bike mechanics, sales, and warehouse staff. The team behind Copenhagen Bike Show created this specialized portal.

Europe faces a severe shortage of bicycle mechanics in coming years. By 2032, Europe will lack 105,000 bike mechanics. Danish bike shops are struggling to find qualified workers. Mainstream job boards often hide these specialized listings.

The new website went live on October 8. It lists over 60 open jobs from 22 companies. Listings include Fri BikeShop, Swapfiets, DAHON, and local repair shops. Users can filter listings by region and job category. Available categories include mechanics, sales, warehouse, management, and apprenticeships.

Job seekers can sign up for free email alerts. The alerts arrive daily or weekly without creating an account. Employers can post standard job ads for free until March 31, 2027. Christian Ritter runs the Copenhagen Bike Show and VeloDays. He noted that exhibitors constantly report hiring difficulties. The site is in Danish, as reported by industry outlet BikeBiz.
