/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /International students applying for non-approved Danish programs face an administrative change. The Danish Accreditation Council now assesses these programs for residence permit applications.
Starting September 15, 2026, the council officially took over this responsibility. This update follows the recent closure of the Danish Evaluation Institute. The council gives advisory quality evaluations to the immigration agency SIRI.
Advisory statements issued before September 15 remain fully valid. The overall requirements for Danish student residence permits stay the same.
