Copenhell Metal Festival Secured at Refshaleøen Until 2028

Copenhell heavy metal festival will stay at Refshaleøen in Copenhagen until 2028. The festival extended its lease with the property company Refshaleøens Ejendomsselskab. Deputy director Michael Madsen welcomed the new rental agreement.

Metal music fans can now breathe a sigh of relief. The long-term future of Copenhell was uncertain for several years. The property company wants to redevelop the Refshaleøen urban area.

Copenhagen Municipality is currently exploring alternative festival locations. City officials hope to establish a permanent event space somewhere else.
