Copenhagen S-Train Line C Launches On-Board Reading Event
DSB and local libraries launched 'Read on Line C' to bring books and author meetings to Copenhagen commuters.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Commuters on Copenhagen S-train Line C can now enjoy books during daily travels. Danish State Railways and local libraries launched the 'Read on Line C' event. The initiative started on September 7, 2026, for International Literacy Day. Seven local municipalities are participating in this joint cultural project.
Passengers can borrow books directly while riding on the train. Travelers can also join live reading sessions on their journeys. Passengers will even have chances to meet local authors on board. The program brings library resources directly into daily public transit.
The service offers practical local culture for students, workers, and families. According to CPH Post, it helps commuters integrate into local life.
