Copenhagen's Old Municipal Hospital Area to Become New District

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /The old municipal hospital in Copenhagen will turn into a new city district. It will feature homes, cafes, and shops. The site is located between the Lakes and the Botanical Garden.
The Finance Committee of Copenhagen Municipality has passed the plan. DR reports that the proposal now goes to the City Council and a public hearing.
Line Barfod voted for the plan. She is the mayor for climate and environment. She said the project opens the area to the public and respects its history. City politicians expect the final plan late this year.
