Copenhagen's New Paper Island Waterfront Bathhouse Nears Completion

Copenhagen residents will soon enjoy a major new waterfront wellness center. The Kai Water Culture House is nearing completion on Paper Island. It offers a fresh way to experience Denmark's famous harbor bath culture.

World-renowned Japanese firm Kengo Kuma & Associates designed the complex. The brick-clad building stands right on the central harbor. It features both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Visitors can also enjoy public saunas and harbor baths.
