/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /House hunters in Copenhagen now have far more options than last year. The supply of apartments for sale in the capital has more than doubled.
New figures from housing platform Boligsiden show contrasting housing trends across Denmark. In early November, apartment listings in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg doubled from a year earlier.
House listings in the capital area also grew by 17 percent. However, housing availability outside the Capital Region continues to fall.
Nationwide, house listings dropped by 10 percent compared to November 2025. East Jutland recorded a 21 percent decrease. The supply of holiday homes across Denmark also fell by 15 percent.
Housing economist Birgit Daetz from Boligsiden explained the trend. Fewer Copenhagen apartment owners are selling their homes to buy houses outside the city.
She advised buyers to stay clear on their priorities. This helps them act fast when the right home appears.
