Copenhagen Airport Sets September Record Ahead of Autumn Travel Rush

This was its busiest September ever. Passenger numbers rose four percent compared to September 2025. The peak travel season now extends beyond summer vacation.
Norway was the largest travel market with 270,000 passengers. Spain followed with 255,000 travelers. Routes to the United Kingdom carried 245,000 people. London, Stockholm, Oslo, Amsterdam, and Paris were the top cities. Direct US flights carried 140,000 passengers, up eight percent. Copenhagen is Denmark’s only airport with direct US flights.
More crowds are expected during the October school holiday. About 1.1 million passengers will travel through the airport then. Busiest days will see over 115,000 travelers. Spain, Italy, and France remain the most popular holiday spots. This information was reported by CPH Post.
