/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Visiting China with a foreign passport is now easier for Copenhagen residents. You no longer need to visit a police station in person. China has launched a nationwide digital portal for non-hotel accommodation registration.
China's National Immigration Administration officially introduced the new online service. Foreign passport holders can register on the portal or the 12367 app. They can also use mini-programs on WeChat and Alipay. Local hosts can complete the process for their foreign guests as well.
Chinese law requires foreign visitors in private homes to register within 24 hours. Article 39 of the Exit and Entry Administration Law mandates this rule. The online process has the same legal validity as registering in person.
The system saves time for residents in Denmark and Sweden visiting family in China. It also simplifies hosting foreign partners or relatives in China. The story was reported by Buch Dein Visum.
