China Launches Online Accommodation Registration for Foreign Visitors

Foreign passport holders in Denmark can now register their stay in China online. China expanded its online stay registration across the country. This rule is for foreigners not staying in hotels. It covers home stays, private houses, and short rentals. The National Immigration Administration launched the digital option.

Foreign guests or hosts must register in 24 hours. They can now finish this duty online. The online choice has full legal force. It equals in-person registration at local police hubs. Visits home are now easier for foreign spouses and children.

People can use three online ways to register. They can download the NIA 12367 mobile app. They can also scan WeChat or Alipay mini-programs. The official website at s.nia.gov.cn is another choice. The service is reported by the National Immigration Administration.
