China Eastern expands Shanghai to London flights for winter 2026

Travelers in Copenhagen planning winter trips to China will soon have more flight choices. China Eastern Airlines is expanding its service between Shanghai and London Heathrow. This extra capacity on a major Europe route creates more transit options. It gives travelers heading to Northern Europe more flexibility during the winter holidays.

Starting November 26, 2026, the airline will increase flights from seven to ten weekly. The carrier will add three weekly flights operated by Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
