/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Danish and Swedish passport holders visiting China can stay visa-free for up to 30 days. This policy is valid through 2026. No stay extensions are allowed under these rules. This clarification helps local residents in Copenhagen planning trips home with foreign-passport family members. It prevents overstay fines and entry refusals at border control.
The visa-free rule covers tourism, business, family visits, and transit. However, it explicitly excludes work and study. It also does not apply to travel on provisional passports. Travelers must hold an ordinary Danish or Swedish passport.
Immigration authorities recently issued this official guidance to clarify the rules. According to dangdi.com, travelers should ensure their trips fit within the 30-day limit. Anyone needing longer stays or other trip purposes must apply for a standard visa.
