Cable Break Disrupts Trains Across Funen

Train services between Odense and Fredericia face delays due to a cable break. Regional trains on this route are currently not running. DSB has deployed rail replacement buses for affected passengers.

Intercity and IntercityLyn trains continue to operate at reduced speeds. This applies to the stretch between Odense and Middelfart or Fredericia. Passengers should expect longer travel times until at least 12:00.

The source of the problem is a broken cable. The damage occurred between Kauslunde and Middelfart. Danish outlet DR reported the information from P4 Trafik and DSB.
