Danish company Epiq ApS issued a recall for four electrical items. The recall includes three extension cords and one double socket adapter. These items were sold between June 2 and September 18, 2026. Bilka and Føtex supermarkets sold these products across Denmark.
The products lack child safety protection over the socket openings. This missing feature creates a potential electric shock hazard. Families with young children should check their homes right away.
You can return affected items to any Bilka or Føtex store. You will receive a full refund. You do not need to show a receipt to get your money back.
The recalled items include the Scoop three socket extension cord with EAN code 5713359129661. The Basis four socket cord has EAN code 5713359131749. The Scoop five socket cord carries EAN code 5713359129692. The Scoop double socket adapter uses EAN code 5713359129685.
You can find the EAN code on the back of each product. Check these numbers before using these devices again.
Bilka and Føtex are major retail chains in Denmark. Many international residents shop at these stores for home items. CPH Post reported this safety recall.
