Amager tops Danish high-end home sales over traditional wealthy areas

Amager now leads Denmark in high-end real estate sales.

In postal code 2300 Copenhagen S, 122 expensive homes were sold this year.

Each of these properties sold for over 10 million Danish kroner.

This makes Amager the top postal code for high-end sales nationwide.

Traditional wealthy areas used to top this list.

These areas include Hellerup, Charlottenlund, Frederiksberg C, and Østerbro.

Now, Amager has surpassed all of them.

Ten years ago, high-end sales were very rare on Amager.

Only three properties sold for over 10 million Danish kroner back then.
