Tens of thousands join Stockholm climate rally ahead of election
About 50,000 people marched in central Stockholm on Sunday to demand stronger climate action before the upcoming election.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /About 50,000 people gathered in central Stockholm on Sunday for a climate demonstration. The rally aimed to push climate issues ahead of the upcoming election. Participants marched under the slogan United for the climate.
More than 280 organizations backed the demonstration. These included the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation. The researcher network Researchers Desk also joined the cause.
Demonstrator Eva Söderlund said climate matters more than anything. Sveriges Radio reported on the large gathering.
