Swedish Party Proposes 2,000 SEK Child Benefit and Longer Leave
The Christian Democrats proposed adding six months of paid parental leave and raising child benefits in Stockholm.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Families in Sweden could soon receive higher monthly child benefits and longer parental leave. The Christian Democrats unveiled these proposed policy changes in Stockholm's Vasaparken.
The party presented its new election manifesto in the park. Under the plan, the monthly child benefit would increase to 2,000 SEK. Paid parental leave would also gradually extend by six months.
In addition, the party proposed a special pension bonus for mothers. These measures aim to give parents extra financial support during child-rearing years.
