Sweden Streaming Subscriptions Reach Record High in Third Quarter

Bundling streaming services with telecom plans offers higher subscription stability in Sweden. A study by Mediavision shows paid streaming subscriptions hit 11.2 million in Q3 2026. This figure represents a new record high for the Swedish media market.

The analysis highlights a clear difference in cancellation rates between subscription types. Bundled streaming plans experienced a fourteen percent churn rate over the past year. In contrast, twenty-five percent of standalone subscriptions were cancelled in that period.

Interestingly, consumers reported lower satisfaction with bundled streaming services. Despite lower individual satisfaction, customers kept bundled plans significantly longer. Mediavision released these quarterly report findings on October 29, 2026.
