Sweden and Netherlands Partner on Saab GlobalEye Defense System

Sweden and the Netherlands have signed a new defense agreement. The deal focuses on Sweden's advanced GlobalEye radar system. This agreement showcases the strength of Sweden's tech sector.

Swedish Minister for Defence Pål Jonson signed the agreement. He met with his Dutch counterpart to finalize the deal. The agreement establishes long-term military technology cooperation between both nations.

Under the deal, Sweden will support the Dutch military. Sweden will help the Netherlands acquire GlobalEye aircraft. Swedish experts will also support Dutch personnel to operate them.

Saab manufactures the GlobalEye airborne warning system in Sweden. The system features advanced airborne radar technologies. This deal strengthens Sweden's position in technology exports.
