Police arrest suspect after fatal Swedish school attack
An 18-year-old man is in custody after a school attack in central Sweden left one dead and three injured.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Swedish police have arrested an 18-year-old man following a school attack in Fagersta. The Friday attack left a 17-year-old girl dead and three boys injured. The suspect faces charges of murder and attempted murder. Fagersta is a town located in central Sweden.
Police confirmed the identity of the deceased victim on Saturday. Two boys under 18 suffered serious injuries in the attack. Hospital staff said both boys are currently in stable condition. A third boy suffered minor injuries during the incident. He received medical treatment and left the hospital on Friday.
Police officers held a press conference late on Saturday afternoon. Investigators have already conducted around 80 interviews about the event. Officers plan to interview all staff and pupils at the school. Police have also questioned the 18-year-old suspect in custody. Sveriges Radio reported the official updates from the Swedish police.
