/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Parents and students in Sweden should be aware of online subcultures glorifying violence. Swedish police link an 18-year-old suspect in a school attack to a online group.
The teenager allegedly killed a 17-year-old girl at a high school in Fagersta. Three other students suffered injuries during the attack in central Sweden.
Investigators believe the suspect joined the True Crime Community network. People call this subculture TCC for short.
Members of TCC revere mass killers on popular social media platforms. These platforms include TikTok, X, Telegram, and Discord.
SVT News investigative reporter Linus Svensson explained the background of TCC. He noted that the subculture has existed online for years. Social media platforms are now taking steps to tackle these groups. (Source: Sveriges Radio)
