Stockholm Sky Watchers Observe Partial Solar Eclipse
Stockholm saw an 81 percent partial solar eclipse coinciding with the Perseid meteor shower peak.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Stockholm saw a bright solar eclipse on August 12. It was a partial solar eclipse just before sunset. It hit 81 percent coverage in the sky. At the same time, the Perseid meteor shower was at its peak.
People all over Sweden went out to see it. Observatorielunden in central Stockholm was a major viewing spot. Many students, workers, and families came to watch the night sky together.
