/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Ordering small items from Chinese shopping sites will soon cost more in Europe. Starting November 1, 2026, the EU adds a new 2 euro parcel fee.
This handling fee applies per product category on small non-EU orders. It takes effect just before the Singles' Day shopping festival on November 11.
The 2 euro fee adds to a 3 euro duty set in July 2026. Total surcharges will now reach 5 euros per product category on low-value parcels.
Over 90 percent of affected small packages originate from China. Popular platforms include Temu, Shein, and AliExpress.
Multi-category packages sent from China will become noticeably more expensive. Free Malaysia Today originally reported these custom changes.
