Youth Violence Cases Rise Sharply in Denmark
A media review shows violent crime cases involving 10- to 14-year-olds rose by 225 percent over ten years.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Crime cases involving young teens in Denmark have increased sharply over the last decade. A recent media review shows a steep rise in suspects under 15 years old.
Danish newspaper Berlingske analyzed data from 2014 to 2024. The review focused on violence cases with suspects aged 10 to 14.
Suspected cases in this age group rose by 225 percent in ten years. In 2014, authorities recorded 247 cases involving these young suspects. By 2024, that number grew to 804 cases.
