/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Clocks move back one hour on Sunday night for winter time. This change will increase travel time on several night trains across Denmark. DSB announced that some InterCity trains will pause during the extra hour.
When clocks turn back from 03:00 to 02:00, the hour repeats. DSB chooses to hold four InterCity trains stationary during this extra hour. These trains start from Copenhagen, Slagelse, and Aalborg. They will wait at stations in Odense and Aarhus.
DSB press chief Tony Bispeskov explained the decision. Running extra trains is not practical because passenger numbers are low. Instead, DSB will offer free refreshments to waiting passengers. Original reporting was published by Danish public broadcaster DR.
