Warm Summer Leads to Record Lifeguard Activity on Danish Beaches
Lifeguards at Danish beaches handled over 60,000 operations during a hot summer season.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Danish beach lifeguards recorded their busiest summer since 2018. Warm weather attracted thousands of visitors to the coast this year. Lifeguards carried out 60,745 total operations during the season. The report comes from Anders Myrhøj of TrygFonden. The news was published by The Copenhagen Post.
The total includes 36 life-saving actions across Danish beaches. This is an increase from 21 life-saving actions last year. Lifeguards also conducted 7,012 preventive operations during the summer. Nearly 4,000 cases involved standard first aid for beachgoers. Almost 50,000 operations were purely informational.
