/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Denmark will host an official state visit from Vietnam this October. Vietnamese President To Lam will visit Copenhagen from October 19 to October 21. He will travel with his spouse, Ngo Phuong Ly. King Frederik and Queen Mary will host a gala dinner on October 19. The event takes place at Christiansborg Palace.
The visit marks 55 years of diplomatic relations between Denmark and Vietnam. A business delegation and government ministers will accompany the president. Talks will focus on green solutions, health, food, and trade. This reflects Denmark's growing commercial ties with Asian economies.
This is the third state visit hosted by King Frederik as monarch. He previously hosted leaders from Iceland and Egypt. The Danish Royal House noted historical ties to Vietnam. The late Prince Henrik spent his early childhood there. He spoke Vietnamese, Chinese, French, and Danish.
To Lam serves as president and Communist Party general secretary. King Frederik and Queen Mary last visited Vietnam officially in 2022. The upcoming visit underlines Denmark's focus on international green partnerships. This news was reported by CPH Post.
