DSB replaced all train services on this route with buses.
A high-voltage cable fell onto overhead power lines on Tuesday afternoon.
This incident caused trains between Odense and Holmstrup to stop completely.
The cable fell during work done by an outside party.
Technicians from Banedanmark are working to remove the cable.
Banedanmark maintains the railway infrastructure in Denmark.
The first replacement buses began operating at 3 p.m.
This disruption affects InterCity and InterCityLyn train services.
Regional trains were already using buses due to a previous signal hut fire.
That fire happened last Friday near Aarup in western Funen.
Passengers should expect longer journey times through Sunday, October 18.
According to CPH Post, travel across Funen remains heavily affected.
