Tractor protests disrupt traffic in Copenhagen and other Danish cities

Tractor demonstrations are disrupting traffic across several Danish cities on Tuesday. Commuters in central Copenhagen and Aarhus should expect delays today.

In Copenhagen, tractors drove right through the city center. The convoy passed Kongens Nytorv and Christiansborg Palace. It then moved out of the city via Kalvebod Brygge.

Demonstrations also took place in Aarhus. Around 35 tractors moved toward the Universitetsparken area.

The protests were organized by local agricultural groups. These include "No farmers, no food, no future" and Bæredygtigt Landbrug. The report comes from The Copenhagen Post.
