Tencent Launches TenPayGo App for Foreign Credit Cards

Visiting China from Copenhagen is now much easier for overseas residents. It also helps foreign partners and family members make payments in China. Tencent has launched a new mobile payment app called TenPayGo. The app targets international visitors and overseas Chinese traveling to mainland China. It helps travelers navigate China's cashless ecosystem without a local bank account.

Users can register for the app using an email address. You do not need a Chinese phone number to sign up. The app links with major foreign cards like Visa and Mastercard. Users can make QR code payments across the WeChat Pay network.

The app also supports public transit access in Chinese cities. It features AI menu translation for foreign diners. Integrated tax refund processing is also included in the app. The South China Morning Post reported Tencent launched the app before the APEC summit.
