Temu Partners with Danish Startup Group to Support Local Entrepreneurs
Global e-commerce platform Temu has joined forces with Copenhagen-based Danish Startup Group to support local entrepreneurs.

This collaboration gives local entrepreneurs and students access to valuable mentorship and events. It opens new networking paths for founders building businesses in Denmark. Temu will participate directly in events and workshops across the country. The platform announced the partnership on August 18, 2026, according to PR Newswire.
Danish Startup Group was founded in Copenhagen back in 2007. The volunteer-run non-profit helps early-stage founders through workshops, events, and mentorship. It has connected hundreds of entrepreneurs and volunteers over the years. Tomas Zhang Mathiesen is the founder and chief executive officer of Danish Startup Group. He welcomed Temu as a new member of the organization. Mathiesen highlighted Temu's goal to invest in innovation and create new value.
Temu launched its main online platform in Denmark in 2023. Last year, it opened the platform to local sellers in Denmark. The Temu Local Seller Programme now operates in over 35 markets worldwide. A Kantar Media survey showed strong consumer recognition in the Nordic region. More than three in four respondents said Temu drives price transparency. Over a third called its local market impact significant. A spokesperson said Temu looks forward to contributing to Denmark's startup scene.
