Temu fell from third to tenth place in Denmark over the past year.
The data comes from the latest survey by the Confederation of Danish Industry.
Research firm Epinion conducted the quarterly survey.
In Q3 2025, Temu held third place among Danish online shoppers.
One year later, it dropped to tenth place.
Mie Bilberg is chief e-commerce consultant at the Confederation of Danish Industry.
She stated that new customs rules explain the decline.
Previously, low-value packages from China entered Denmark without customs duty.
Packages worth under 150 euros now face a three-euro customs charge.
From November 1, an additional handling fee of two euros also applies.
Extra fees make buying from Danish stores like Føtex more attractive.
Bilberg said this helps European shops compete on equal terms.
German fashion store Zalando remains Denmark's most-used online shopping platform.
Second-hand marketplace Vinted stays in second place.
Danish retailer Matas moved into third place, replacing Temu.
Consumers increasingly buy used goods to save money and help the climate.
