Stena Line Orders Two China-Built Ferries for Sweden-Denmark Route
Stena Line has ordered two hybrid ferries from China to operate between Sweden and Denmark by 2030.

Swedish ferry operator Stena Line signed a deal with China Merchants Industry Weihai Shipyard. The agreement covers two 214.5-meter hybrid E-Flexer RoPax ferries. Vessel delivery is scheduled for 2030.
The ferries will operate on the route between Gothenburg in Sweden and Frederikshavn in Denmark. The project will expand passenger and freight capacity between both nations. It reflects ties in trade, transit, and infrastructure connecting Sweden, Denmark, and China. (Source: MarineLink)
