Stena Line Orders Two China-Built Ferries for Sweden-Denmark Route

You can soon take a new hybrid ship to cross between Sweden and Denmark. Stena Line ordered two new ships for the route from Gothenburg to Frederikshavn. A shipyard in China will build both of these vessels. The work will take place at China Merchants Industry Weihai Shipyard in China.

The ships will use battery power with a gas or oil engine. In the future, they can run on 100 percent electric power. This order gives people and goods a green way to cross the sea.
