/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Train travelers between Copenhagen Central Station and Næstved face delays on Wednesday. Travel times are longer until 1:00 p.m. A severed cable caused a signal failure at Kildebronde. Banedanmark told Ritzau that the cable was cut in East Zealand.
Danish national rail operator DSB announced the disruption on its website. Some trains through Køge Nord now detour through Roskilde. These detoured trains will not stop between Copenhagen and Ringsted. Buses are replacing trains between Køge and Næstved. DSB advises all passengers to check Rejseplanen before leaving home.
Fewer trains are also running between Odense and Fredericia. This reduction will last through Sunday, October 18. Regional trains on that route are replaced by buses. This started on Friday after a fire near Aarup. International and express trains run on normal schedules at lower speeds. A fallen cable caused a short circuit on Tuesday afternoon. That issue stopped all train traffic for about two hours.
