Several Danish Government Websites Temporarily Closed

Several Danish authority websites closed on Friday evening. This is a preventive measure after suspicious activity at a supplier. It may temporarily affect access to online public services.

The Danish Agency for Social Security announced the decision. The IT supplier detected suspicious activity and warned affected organizations. The agency did not list all affected websites.

News agency Ritzau checked ministry websites on Friday evening. They found four ministry websites were inaccessible. These include the Health Ministry and Social Affairs Ministry. The Business Ministry and Climate Ministry were also offline. Officials have not confirmed if these specific outages are connected.
