Save Money on China Domestic Flights From August 5
Chinese airlines will lower domestic flight fuel fees on August 5, saving money for Copenhagen residents traveling in China.

- Announcement date: July 31, 2026
- New fees apply from: August 5, 2026 (ticket issue date)
- Routes 800 km or less: 40 yuan (reduced by 10 yuan)
- Routes over 800 km: 70 yuan (reduced by 30 yuan)
- Action: Wait until August 5 to issue internal China flight tickets
Short domestic routes will cost less. Routes of 800 kilometers or less will cost 40 yuan. That is a 10-yuan drop. Long domestic routes will cost 70 yuan. That is a 30-yuan drop for routes over 800 kilometers.
Many Chinese people live and work in Copenhagen. Many students also study at local Danish universities. People often fly back to China for summer visits or holidays. Most international flights from Copenhagen land in big hubs like Beijing or Shanghai.
You might need a second flight to reach your hometown. You might also want to travel inside China. You should wait until August 5 to issue those internal tickets. Booking after this date will lower your travel costs.
