SAS Expands Direct Asia Flights from Copenhagen Hub
SAS is launching direct flights from Copenhagen to Phuket and Krabi for winter 2026 while boosting Bangkok capacity.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /Travel from Copenhagen Airport to Asia will become easier in winter 2026. SAS is expanding direct long-haul flights from its main hub in Denmark.
SAS will launch direct flights from Copenhagen to Phuket on December 9, 2026. This service will run two to three times a week. A new route to Krabi will start on December 8, 2026. It will operate twice weekly. Both routes will use Airbus A350 aircraft through late March 2027.
SAS will also boost capacity on its Copenhagen to Bangkok route by 15 percent. Overall capacity to Thailand will jump over 75 percent. The airline is also adding seats to Seoul and Tokyo.
Copenhagen serves as the primary hub for SAS passengers across Denmark and Sweden. No new direct Thailand flights were added from other Nordic capitals. This news was reported by ScandAsia.
