Ryanair Signs Labor Agreement for Stockholm Base

Travelers using Ryanair at Stockholm Arlanda Airport can expect more stable flight operations. A new labor agreement now covers workers at the airline's Swedish base.

Low-cost airline Ryanair reached the deal with the Swedish Transport Workers' Union. The agreement covers cabin crew based at Stockholm Arlanda Airport.

Staff will receive collectively agreed wages under the Swedish labor model. They will also gain standard Swedish employment protections.

Union chairman Tommy Wreth called the agreement historic news for workers. He described the contract as a major success for the Swedish model.
