Police search for electric scooter rider after Aarhus shooting

East Jutland Police are seeking a man after a shooting in Aarhus West. The shooting took place on Thursday night on Rydevænget.

Several shots were fired at an apartment door. No one was hit during the incident.

Police published surveillance images of a young man on an electric scooter. He was near the address around the time of the shooting.

Officers believe the gunman targeted the wrong address. The resident in the apartment has no connection to the case.

Police suspect a link to a similar shooting in Hasselager last weekend.

The suspect is 165 to 175 centimeters tall. He has an average to slender build. He wore a dark down jacket, black gloves, and lighter trousers.
