Over 770,000 People in Denmark Use Share Savings Accounts
More residents in Denmark are using share savings accounts to get lower tax rates on stock investments.

/ DANGDI / DANGDI / DANGDI /You can pay less tax on investments in Denmark through an equity savings account. According to Finans Danmark, 772,000 people in Denmark had this account by mid-year. That is an increase of 114,000 account holders in just six months.
The special account lets individuals invest in stocks and equity funds. Returns from these investments face a tax rate of only 17 percent. Standard investment returns face a tax rate of at least 27 percent.
This lower tax rate helps local residents save money on investment gains. The statistics were reported by The Copenhagen Post.
