The deal focuses on new oral treatments for cardiometabolic diseases.
This agreement strengthens local Danish pharmaceutical innovation.
Orbis Medicines could receive up to 1.4 billion US dollars.
That amount equals more than 9 billion Danish kroner.
The money will be paid through several milestone-based steps.
Orbis could also receive royalties from any future sales.
